Sharespace Renter Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms outline your rights and responsibilities as a renter (“you,” “your”) when booking a space through Sharespace (“we,” “our,” “the Platform”).

By completing a booking on Sharespace, you agree to these Terms, our Refund & Cancellation Policy for Renters, and our Privacy Policy.

 

 

2. Using Sharespace

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.

  • You agree to provide accurate information when making a booking.

  • You may not use Sharespace for any unlawful or unsafe activity.

 

 

3. Bookings and Payments

  • All bookings and payments must be made through the Sharespace website or authorized channels.

  • A booking is confirmed once full payment is received.

  • Prices shown include Sharespace’s service fees unless stated otherwise.

  • Please review space details, rules, and amenities before booking; each space is unique.

 

 

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Refunds follow the Refunds & Cancellations Policy for Renters.

  • Refund eligibility depends on when you cancel relative to your booking date.

  • No-shows are considered non-refundable unless due to verified emergencies.

  • Sharespace reserves the right to mediate disputes between renters and space owners.

 

 

5. During Your Booking

You agree to:

  • Arrive and leave within the confirmed booking time.

  • Treat the space, its equipment, and staff with respect.

  • Follow any house rules provided by the space owner or Sharespace.

  • Accept financial responsibility for any damages or rule violations caused by you or your guests.

 

 

6. Changes or Cancellations by Space Owners

  • If a space owner cancels your booking, Sharespace will assist in processing a full refund or help you find an alternative space.

  • Sharespace is not liable for indirect losses but will ensure fair resolution.

 

 

7. Platform Limitations

Sharespace acts as a listing and booking intermediary.

We do not own or manage the spaces and are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or losses occurring on the premises.

However, we actively moderate disputes and enforce fair-use policies.

 

 

8. Modifications to These Terms

Sharespace may update these Terms occasionally.

Major changes will be announced on our website, and continued use of the platform means you accept the new version.

 

 

9. Account and Data Privacy

Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

We use your contact information only for booking coordination, receipts, and service updates.
